Elisha (Marvin) is the Forgotten Jewish Refugee of Iraq. This is the remarkable true story of a young child who endured the murder of his family and the imprisonment of a brutal regime. Marvin escaped from Iraq only to discover that the human rights system would not deliver the liberty and freedom he sought. His journey continued to Australia, where he was intercepted and supported by the local Jewish community and provided the opportunity to re-establish his life amidst continuous challenges.

About the Author

Marvin Cohen has related his story over a period of several years to Andrew Blitz, who has worked with Marvin to assist him to transcribe the sequence of events and share his experience in descriptive English. My Salvation remains Marvin’s first-hand account of his own story. Andrew has been delighted to assist Marvin to share his story and to support the publication of his amazing account of survival.
