“Nature’s Poems” is a book of 80 poems that takes you through a thought-provoking and reflective journey of nature, human nature, life and love. It covers issues of nature and the threats for wildlife and humanity. It looks within the motivations and thoughts of different individuals, the trials and tribulations of life, and the eternal longing for love. Let the poems inspire your senses, and take you on a breath-taking ride into the mind and heart of nature’s beauty, and of hope, melancholy and human passions. The book is envisaged to be a “Symphony of words”, rather than a symphony of music. Let these poems be music to your ears!

 

About the Author

 Phil de Sousa is an Australian composer and poet, and holds an Honours Psychology degree from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. In September, 2012, he released a classical music CD titled “Fantasy in E Flat, a week in the life”. This is a seven movement work, fundamentally a theme and variations, which portrays a week in the life of an ordinary person. The piece is arranged for piano and small orchestra. This music is available digitally on i-Tunes and Spotify.  “Nature’s Poems” is Phil de Sousa’s first book of poems.
