The Entrepreneurial Clinician |

Take control of your work and your life to achieve healthier client and business outcomes
The healthcare system in which we health professionals and clinicians operate requires us to be ‘on’ from the moment we turn up. We want to help people, so we are conditioned to offer that help at any cost – even at the expense of our own health.
But if we have unhealthy people providing care (that’s you), then we have poorer clinical and patient outcomes.
You are the one who is sick and suffering in the system.
Now imagine going to work each day and not feeling like it’s a cash-flow struggle.
Imagine all your paperwork done, insurance claims submitted and clinical notes up to date.
Imagine being rested, present and fully alive for your clients.
Imagine feeling free and fulfilled.
This book will show you how to break the status quo using a proven roadmap to become empowered, engaged and entrepreneurial in your own practice.
Learn to do the work you love, the way you love to do it, with the people you are best able to serve.
And start changing healthcare from the inside out.
Jo Muirhead is passionate about helping people.
As an engaging speaker, coach and mentor, she empowers health professionals to take control of their own lives and build successful, sustainable and profitable practices. After all, how can you look after someone else if you’re not taking care of yourself first?
A Rehabilitation Counsellor with over 20 years’ experience, she is also the founder of PurpleCo (the Purpose for People Company), where she helps people reclaim their lives and return to work following injury, illness and trauma.
Jo started PurpleCo after becoming fed up with poor service provision for some of the most forgotten people in our communities. She has remained faithful to her vision to ensure that people come before paper and quickly became a sought-after mentor, coach, speaker and trainer both in Australian and overseas.
As someone who lives and breathes what she teaches others, Jo has undergone a lot of trial and error to create a career and business that now works for her, not against her.
It’s this knowledge and experience that she shares with others through writing and speaking for organisations, publications and podcasts like Psych Central, Thrive Global, Huffington Post, Gloss, The Private Practice Start-Up, Australian College of Applied Psychology, The Practice Made Perfect Podcast, and many more.
Jo holds a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Rehabilitation Counselling from the University of Sydney. She is also an accredited career counsellor though the Career Development Association of Australia, and has trained as an adult educator and coach. She was named Rehabilitation Counsellor of the Year at the 2018 Australian Allied Health Awards.
