Thieves of Honour |
Kent Mathieson |
Amidst the soaring mountains and plunging rivers of the Tien Shan range in Kyrgyzstan, several small villages lie dry and desolate. Amidst the people of a close knit community, a man is isolated. Amidst the promise and purpose of an international development project, a myriad of motives and problems surge. From these threads, through the pressures of life, a tale is formed, a tale of fears and hopes, shame and honour. The end is not clear to anyone. Does the tale have an end at all?
